Live Slow
In a world that constantly asks us to move faster, we choose to slow down.
To linger over breakfast. To walk without somewhere to be. To watch the sun go down. To leave your phone untouched for a little longer.
Slow living isn't about doing nothing. It's about making space for what matters — being present enough to actually experience the life you're living.
Connect
We believe life feels better when it is shared. Connection is at the heart of everything we create.
Around the table. Through movement. In long conversations. In the friendships that form when people come together with openness and intention.
Our retreats are intentionally intimate, creating space to move beyond small talk and create genuine connection — with yourself, with others, and with the places we gather.
Nourish
Nourishment is more than what we eat. It is how we care for ourselves, our bodies, and the life we create around us.
We believe food should be enjoyed — seasonal ingredients, beautiful meals, long breakfasts, fresh bread, and gathering around a table with nowhere else to be.
Nourishment also means rest, nature, meaningful conversation, and giving yourself permission to receive. To slow down enough to notice what you actually need.
Move
Movement is our way of coming back to ourselves — feeling strong, grounded, capable, and at home in our bodies.
Through Pilates, mindful movement, walks, swimming, surfing, and exploring the places around us, we invite movement to feel joyful rather than obligatory.
Our bodies aren't something to fix. They are something to experience. To challenge, to celebrate, and to move through the world with.
Casha Convívio is an extension of our personal journeys of moving from Canada to Portugal. Meeting along the our separate paths and connecting at the right moment to begin a shared journey, where we found convívio and what we’ve been craving - connection, gathering, shared meals, long conversations and a way of living rooted in presence.
Carly and Natasha are certified pilates instructors, currently teaching in person in Lisbon, Portugal and online globally.
Meet Your Hosts
Carly Hennessey
A light-hearted, beautifully balanced soul who moves through life with ease and laughter. She finds joy in the simple pleasures — film photography, long afternoons at the beach, and sipping on an Aperol spritz as the sun dips low.
With a natural warm and grounded energy, Carly brings a sense of calm wherever she goes.
Her love for Pilates has become something deeper than just movement. It’s her space to slow down, to breathe, and reconnect with both mind and body. Through intentional movement, she’s discovered strength, softness, and the power of creating space for herself in a fast-paced world.
Natasha Kalmanovitch
She embodies slow, intentional living in its most beautiful form. After stepping away from working in finance and corporate burn out, she chose a life guided by presence, purpose, and thoughtful movement.
Pilates has become a grounding ritual for her, a way to slow down, tune inward, and move with intention. She especially loves the playful challenge of inversions, finding clarity and perspective both on and off the mat.
Nowadays, her days are filled with discovery — the best cafes, restaurants, and scenic viewpoints wherever she goes. Whether she’s setting off on an adventure or preparing her weekly sourdough at home, Natasha brings care, curiosity, and balance to everything she does.
What We’re About
Casha Convívio is rooted in the belief that life feels better when we create space to slow down, gather, and truly be present.
We’re drawn to the simple things — movement, nourishing food, nature, meaningful conversations, long meals, and the feeling of being surrounded by people who make you feel at home.
Our retreats are an invitation to step away from the noise and reconnect with yourself and others. Nothing needs to be rushed. There is space to move, explore, rest, laugh, eat, and simply be.
This is convívio — coming together, sharing life, and creating moments that stay with you long after you leave.
